Academic Award Assembly
Please join us for our academic awards assembly on Friday, March 31 at 9:00 a.m. in our school gym. We look forward to seeing you there!
If you need financial assistance, please complete the yellow form in your packet of registration materials. The paper work is due to the main office by Friday, April 7. This is confidential information. Please complete the form so we can assist you in any way possible.
The St. James School memorial golf tournament is on Wednesday, May 24, 2017. Please see Jay Long and Joe Beaudreault for more information.

Registration for 2017-2018
Please return your returning student registration form, along with the registration fee, to the school office by April 3. If you are a new student/family for the 2017-2018 school year, please complete the new student application. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions.
Congratulations to Julie Fauxbel and Stephanie Arsenault on their acceptance into the Reflex Educator Grant Program ($3,500). As part of the grant program, exceptional elementary and middle school educators have the opportunity to use Explore Learning Reflex. This math program is the most effective math fact fluency program for our children. Congratulations!
Yankee Candle Fundraiser
Our spring Yankee Candle fundraiser event is underway, and there are prizes for the students and their parents. The single highest seller will receive a $50 gift card to Big Y. The classroom with the highest percentage of participation will receive an ice cream party! The chairs for the fundraiser are Charlene Marshall and Sarah Hendrick. Please contact them if you have questions about the fundraiser.
Summer Camp Update
We will be hosting summer camp again this year. The program will run from June 19-July 28. Over the last three years of collected data, we lost $11,957.32 in the program. We have made the school advisory board aware of the situation but would like to continue the program by increasing our fees and limiting the field trips to one per week. Please review our informational camp letter for more details.
Donnelly's Uniform Company Visit
Donnelly's Uniform Company will be at St. James School on Tuesday, May 9 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. We will be sending flyers home soon. Delivery of purchases will take place on Wednesday, July 26 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Dismissal Procedures Are Changing
We want to inform you that dismissal procedures will be changing at the end of the school day. The dismissal procedures will be effective on Tuesday, September 5, 2016. The following information will eliminate the car line as it stands currently:
Therefore, after observing the dismissal procedures on August 31, our principal made an executive decision to eradicate the car line. We hope that this will alleviate any issues concerning the dismissal of students at the end of the school day.
Altar Servers Class
Our altar servers class meets on the fourth Saturday of every month at 3:30 p.m. Please call ahead to schedule. We will train you, and you will serve your first mass at 4:00 p.m. with Mr. Stepalavich. For information, or to sign up, please call Mrs. Stepalavich at (860) 630-0680.
