Congratulations to the girls varsity, the girls junior varsity, and the boys junior varsity basketball teams! All were victors in their tournaments during the Thanksgiving holiday. Way to go!
Congratulations to Our Robotics Team!
This past weekend the St. James robotics team went to the regional competition and against the 26 teams present, won a trophy for highest robot score, 1st place overall champions award, and a golden ticket for the state tournament. This was a long, grueling day but our team kept their focus and secured victory.
These tenacious students will now proceed on to the state tournament on December 7 at CCSU in New Britain. They are competing for the Champion's Award. The team that secures this title will represent the state of Connecticut at the World Festival in St. Louis, MO in May. Though competition will likely be tough, with 50 teams set to be present, their coach, Dan McCrory, is cautiously optimistic that this team could take it all.
We are so proud! At St. James, you are all already champions!
Flu Vaccination Requirements
State law requires that all pre-k students need to receive the flu vaccine by December 31, 2013. Please send documentation to the school nurse, Mrs. Markley.
