We have a lot to talk about, so be sure to check our News page often. Here we will share details about upcoming events, provide important reminders, and tell you all about the things and people that make us great.
Picture retakes are on Tuesday, October 30 beginning at 10:00 a.m.
Children attending the Children's Mass on November 4 will have a free dress down day and free ice cream. We will take attendance in all classes. Children are to report to their classrooms by 8:45 a.m. They will proceed into church by their teacher and sit with their class. We will have reserved seating in the front pews.
Please remember to submit your forms for this Mass. The main office and faculty need to know who is attending the Mass, which is being done by the National Junior Honor Society. The dedication ceremony will be a full house in the gymnasium as we have the ceremony planned for 10:00 a.m.
Attention, new families! If you would like to decorate a tile for the cafeteria, please contact the main office. The cost is $20.00 per tile. All proceeds will go to Operation Christmas Child.

Cyber Safety and Bullying Presentation
Students had a presentation on Cyber Safety and Bullying on Wednesday, September 26, 2018, in our gym. The presenter came from Chicago for the parents on Tuesday evening and for our students on Wednesday. It was an informative session dealing with social media, Instagram, online predators, sexting, snapchat, online gaming, and cell phone monitoring. The presenter gave suggestions on how to monitor online situations. The purpose of the parent presentation was to educate parents on the dangers that children face every day in their online life and provide them with practical strategies to parenting in this hyper digital age. By increasing parents’ comfort and awareness of these issues, they will be more involved in their children’s online life thus increasing the communication on this topic and their safety. Additionally, the presenter provided practical, technical instruction on the apps and devices that children are using every day.
Catholic Schools Week
Catholic Schools Week begins on November 4. The theme Discover Today’s Catholic Schools will focus on enrollment, marketing, and encouraging new families to join the Catholic school community. Hosting this week in the fall will also give families plenty of time to make enrollment decisions.
We will start the week with a children's mass at 9:00 a.m. We require students to wear their mass uniforms. Following the mass, there will be a dedication ceremony in our school gym for Father John.
Please follow the instructions concerning the car line. There should only be seven cars in the first car line. Please fill in the other parking spaces. Mr. David Izzo will be painting lines for us in October. Thank you!
